Primary description: Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular outcomes

The Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes (ACCORD) clinical trial evaluated intensive glycemic control on a cohort of participants with type 2 diabetes. The Memory in Diabetes (MIND) sub-study further evaluated cognitive and structural brain outcomes in a subset of participants from the two randomized groups of ACCORD study.
